St. Andrews

St. Andrews

Regular price £375

This limited-edition cityscape sculpture captures the Golfing capital and popular university town, home of Scotland's oldest University- St. Andrews

Crafted from solid oak and engraved perspex, this piece features built in lighting, which can be changed to over 12 colours & effects using the remote control or manual push button- particularly dramatic at night! The lighting is powered by x3 standard AA batteries recessed in the rear of the sculpture, so it can be displayed anywhere, without any cables or clutter to worry about.

Featured are many of St. Andrews' historic landmarks including the Town Hall, beautiful Cathedral and Castle ruins overlooking the Bay, the famous West Port Gateway (modelled on Edinburgh's Netherbow), the Martyr's Monument, and the remains of Blackfriars Chapel, still standing up to the elements since being built in 1520!

It also wouldn't be a true depiction of St. Andrews without the renowned Royal & Ancient Golf Course, depicted in high detail complete with Old Pavilion, British Golf Museum (newly rebuilt), Old Clubhouse, scenic Swilcan Bridge and prestigious 'Hamilton Grand', a luxury collection of Apartments and Penthouses.

The engraved sculpture sits in a solid oak base with a beautiful lively grain, into which is etched the name of the city 'St. Andrews' in Roman style font.

Display it on the wall using the recessed hooks, or a flat surface such as a sideboard or shelf, and let it shine!
